Educator
Consulting in leadership development, curriculum, instruction, culture systems, and college access, Elisha Roberts has over 15 years of experience in education. Prior to consulting for schools and organizations nationally, Elisha served as the Chief Academic Officer (executing the vision for student services, college access, and academics), Managing Director (supervising Principals), Founding Principal of STRIVE Prep RISE, an AP of Culture (focused on Restorative Justice) and was a social studies teacher before that. STRIVE Prep RISE, a social justice based charter in FNE Denver (now RMP - RISE), would be ranked one of the highest performing high schools in Denver, per the DPS schools framework, under her leadership. Elisha has managed culture, academic, and family engagement structures including professional development for 50 - 500 staff. She has studied education systems in Botswana, Japan, and Papua New Guinea. Elisha has consulted for the Colorado Department of Education. Born and raised in Colorado, Elisha was a Daniels Scholar and holds a B.A. from Occidental College, and a Masters of Education in curriculum and instruction from Boston College’s Donovan Urban Scholars program. Elisha works for the Colorado Education Initiative as the an Assistant Director of Implementation and Partnership and also recently helped found a non-profit, 5280 Opportunity Project focused on expanding access to high quality extra curricular opportunities for students.
